Today's Low Quality Ad is for this Tilted Cat Bowl. It's designed to help prevent whisker stress. Oh no, are my cats stressed out by their whiskers? I always assumed their whiskers were a point of pride for them.

@lowqualityfacts Well, I’ve seen it claimed on good authority that they’re bothered by deep, narrow bowls where their sensitive whiskers keep brushing against the sides.

I’ll consider worrying about that when mine (who has two broad-brimmed water bowls) stops jamming his head into unattended glasses of water.

It's called "whisker fatigue" & repeated use of narrow bowls triggers it, I have 3 water bowls of different sizes for my 5 kitties

Whiskers can be very sensitive for some cats. Wide flat bowls are better so they don't touch the sides 🙂

Cat's don't like it when their whiskers touch the edge of the bowl when they eat. So a wide shallow dish can be helpful to cats.

This design isn't bad at all. However I'm intimidated by how expensive it looks.
