@leah chocolate with something green in it that's ridiculously overpriced

I don't know that the green stuff is made out of, does that count as knowing?

(not German, it's in Dutch stores too)

@rox @leah It's pistachio. And I'd say it's not worth the hype. I tried it because a colleague recently brought some from a trip to the UAE.

@livho @rox @leah

Got a small one yesterday as a little dessert with my spouse after dinner.

I rather liked it, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to try it again.

@leah Not German, living in DE. I just learned what this is because my local Edeka has a Dubai chocolate "shrine" with all kinds of chocolate/pistachio stuff.

Word on the street that authentic imported Dubai chocolate has some nasty stuff in it though, so maybe better to stick with a Toblerone 😅

@leah I am not on any mainstream social media, am not from Germany, and I know what Dubai Chocolate is. And I know it's not good.

I like kunafa (especially with a bunch of pistachios) but not in a chocolate sarcophagus.

@leah It was a huge trend in Turkey. There was a theory it became a trend in Turkey because of a huge party of pistachios being rejected by Europe and the growers were trying to sell that pistachios back to us.
