@gigabecquerel @fesix Yes, though we "sadly" only use the 14.4keV photons in transmission, the rest is just byproduct, with the higher energy ones of course being able to go through a bit more shielding. But the outside view is a bit deceptive, the driving units usually have lead collimators that are a few centimeters thick, and there are three or four layers of the thinner sheets stacked under the visible outer one.
