@EveHasWords For more info about security culture i suggest the introduction blog post by the No Trace Project (in contrast to operational security, which is also important). Practicing security culture is just generally a good to habit, its not incriminating to want to protect yourself and others from fascists and authoritarians.

Another important distinction to consider is to also not talk about activities you or others have done or plan to do which may be criminalized, but this update to the "two nevers" is problematic still too.
