@leighelse @rogerparkinson Up around there its a bit more understandable as that's kinda the only through route available unless there was some way of popping the logs out onto some kind of barge in the various coves, bays and beaches.
But towing a camper and meeting one of those trucks would definitely be an experience. Reminds me of a video I watched of a truck driver doing the Remutaka hill and him pointing out the sections they had to radio ahead to find out which truck got to go first.
