It bugs me with trade sites. Sometimes I just need to look up a price as I am quoting for a client, or I just need to know if a change in spec would still be within budget.
Instead I have to log in, select my store, add items into the basket, change the store because an item is out of stock, start again, etc. just to get a price based on how valued a trade customer I am.
I often end up just looking at retail prices and the client deciding they can't afford the job, without knowing that once I have the job and start ordering stuff, the job could become 25-30% cheaper on materials.
Yes, the discount benefits me, but only if it can also benefit my client enough that they give me the job in the first place!
And I hate negotiating discounts with sales people.
