However, the main idea you'd add is a tag in each post saying how it'd wish to be rendered (either short-form vertical video, picture, horizontal video, or simple text). You can currently classify a post to have a certain language, and people can only follow you IN a language. With your addition, people's clients would automatically follow or render one kind of post, and not simply display EVERY image or video on their platform as such, despite never being made to be rendered that way.
I like the way you think. If you want to look into different concepts that try to achieve a similar thing, look for: Polycentric Identity. The main app I know that's trying to do this is “Grayjay” by Louis Rossman. It'd basically allow you to have “one” account yet it's YouTube and PeerTube tied together.
