@zdl I also tell especially our girl that I don't like them because some stories are about how girls are worth less, and I don't believe that at all. And I tell her to be careful about that. Believing in god is fine if it helps, but belief that something about yourself is bad because religion says so just damages.
I hope they avoid religion altogether, but I suppose they'll also look for answers at some point. Mostly I want to prepare them for how best to ask questions about it all.
