I love the concept of this wheel. What I don’t like is that it’s not really correct from a neurobiological point of view.

There are seven primary affects (midbrain), all mapped and described by Jaak Panksepp and the field of Affective Neuroscience that he founded.

So these should really form the center of a wheel like this as they are the basis all “higher” (cortical) processes are based upon.
