I look around at other humans, examples of the genus that I am reliably informed I am a member of. They all seem to have the same form as me, superficially at least this is evident.

However, how do they drink hot coffee out of this apparatus? The physics is all wrong. Absolutely fascinating.

@selzero I also cannot understand this, although it's a bit a fashion thing. They want to look busy, places to go.

My main concern though is most of taste is actually smell, so they can't taste it, they are just putting hot liquids down their throats

You have to increase the size of this thingy (hole?) on the other side of lid. (empahsised with red circle)

That said, I still get sometime some coffee on my hands / clothes.🤦 😆

@selzero If I'm out and about I ask them to fill my cup for me, then I sit down somewhere outside and have a cigarette and drink it without the lid. The lid is only there so the last drops of coffee don't end up in my bag.

Also, my cup is only 2.5dl. I love coffee but I'm not gonna drink a pint of it on the subway.

@selzero Intended for an alien proboscis?

I have long suspected that hard shell tacos were invented by aliens. They are obviously intended to be eaten by creatures with mandibles. If you turn them sideways so that they go into a human mouth, all the filling falls out!
