Mastodon feature request: A "Lock My Ass Out" option where you could set it to not let you post for a certain amount of time, like 20 January in your local time zone because of current events. Or not let you post for like 12 hours because things are shit and you're going to get fucked up and don't want to post something more regrettable than normal.
