What, I ought not to be worried about my weight? I have arthritis in my knees. Over 200 lbs, I have trouble standing up from a squat. Over 190, going up stairs. At 186, I almost feel like dancing.

Yes, I watch my weight. Not because I am vain. Because arthritis hurts.

@Professor_Stevens Looks delicious! It's my hands that suffer arthritis, now that I've gotten my bad hip replaced. I've started to have my wife open things these days. The thumbs are particularly painful. A friend suggested magnesium glycinate pills and I think they've been helping my knees anywayh

Ah, that's a drag. My hands cramp up if I use a pen or pencil too long, but no arthritis in them yet. My doctors seem to have a "sure, why not?" attitude about all the pills/foods/exercises/magnets/voodoo out there to deal with it. So, I try almost everything. I'll put magnesium glycinate on the list.

The chili itself really is ambrosia. (I use 3 lbs beef and swap a bell pepper for the green chiles.)
