When I open a new terminal, I really like it if it automatically has the same working directory as the currently focused one.

On Xorg, I used a little tool called xcwd to tell me what that working directory is, but it doesn't work on #Wayland.

So I wrote my own one! ✨ I called it ycwd, and it sparks a lot of joy for me! :)

Configured a keyboard shortcut in xfce (Xorg) to run:

sh -c 'exec kitty "--working-directory=$(ycwd "$(xdotool getwindowfocus getwindowpid)")"'

@blinry I miss xdotool and xtrlock on wayland. One reason why I am not moving.

Oh and a screensaver with cool animations is also not there. So sad.
