I have neighbors who may have issues and I live in Aurora (where trump said he'd send the military to save us from the Venezuelan gangs {that don't exist}) so I'll keep a copy of this and use it accordingly. Thanks

@marisa In the UK what sometimes happen is that the neighbours turn out in force and prevent the authorities taking their friends away.

I am not, of course, recommending anyone try this in a country where the police - and quite likely the neighbours - are routinely armed.

@TimWardCam Im genuinely afraid that rule of law is not going to work in some scenarios at the moment. We have to be smarter than their ugly agenda. And make no mistake this is not “tRump by himself.” The Republicans have been selling military hardware to local police for a few years for just this sort of ugly BS. #USPol I’m not saying give up ahead of time I just saying we shouldn’t expect normalcy & need to be prepared to be creative. @marisa

The strategic objective is to terrify the #BodyPolitic into submission, bending the knee in advance.

Documenting what’s happening is critical.

This is also an anti-pattern.

If there's a Rapid Response network in your county or broader area, people should sign up for that. It will provide much more structure and support around ICE watch activities, including relationships with immigration attorneys who may be able to use your footage to defend the immigrant in court. Multiple California counties have ICE watch / Rapid Response programs.

@marisa neighbours, I am so sorry you have to worry about such things, about all the fears you are expressing in these days, justified fears, of what's coming. Know we in Canada are friends to you, even as we condemn those coming in to govern your country.
