I am looking for recommendations of which #pixelfed server to join. I am a writer so I guess most I will be doing is lurking, see at what other writers and reviewers share and liking cat pictures. I do have cat pictures of my own which I might share as well... And probably gush about my characters because: How can I not?

You don't need a new account. You can subscribe to people on pixelfed from here. It's kinda like email. Lots of servers, but they all talk the same.

You could try subscribing to someone like @dansup for example.

@Firlefanz @shaknais @dansup I just did it. @StrangeSeawolfPix Was not a big problem to set up. Still fiddling around but I think it works great. only downside so far: i can't put focus points which isn't a problem on pixelfed but on Mastodon it looks a bit odd, at least in the tuba app.
