Whatβs the Monty python to start the kids on? Mine are 16/13. They liked Fish Called Wanda.

Yup. I was going to come back and add the TV series, and it looks like others have got it covered.
Just two warnings: 1) The TV shows do start to drag towards the end of the run. I watched them all, having built my adolescent identity around Monty Python, but your kids needn't. 2) If this takes, you are looking forward to five years of them quoting lines from The Parrot Sketch. I guess that's better then getting into drugs. At least the hard ones. I guess. π

@gretared @TheNovemberMan Totally not a problem, I think. For The Life of Brian, maybe.

@gretared
"Holy Grail" is quite silly, and I loved it back then. Of course, I was also into medieval history, so that helped.
Though back then movies were slower paced, and production values were often much lower. That might be an obstacle for modern kids.

@gretared Holy grail holds up pretty well, there's a reason it's the most quoted.

@gretared @kristinHenry For good reason, I think! My kids watched Holy Grail and it really set the ball rolling. Suddenly we were watching the entire back catalog of MPFC and my kids were quoting skits in the back of my car. It was glorious. ππ

@gretared Holy Grail seems to work well for that age. They usually discover it on their own, too.
