However, the growth in world population provides important context for comparison.

The increased rate at which the dollar loses value coincides with when the US started allowing people hoard vast fortunes.

@KCDOZ President Jimmy Carter died today, age 100. I voted for him in the first election after I turned 18. My respect for him has only grown since then. He was certainly the greatest President of my lifetime. I urge you to read about him and what he accomplished in life. A little known fact is that he wrote a letter (👆🏼) that was included in the data disk attached to Voyager 1, now long out of our solar system in interstellar space. I can’t imagine any other President doing that.

We were told he was weak and soft, but Jimmy Carter was a hero who risked his life to save a city from a nuclear disaster. He was smeared by the man who engaged in a treasonous bargain with Iran to hold Americans hostage for his own benefit, a man whose legacy still harms the US.
