My one-day best on Grand Prix #pinball. #Design by Steve Kordek, #Art by Christian Marche.

Kordek made a LOT of #games for Williams between 1960 and 1983. GP and one other of his Space Mission were manufactured over 10k times. The rest were from 1k to 6k. Respectable for someone who worked the salt mines for 20 odd years.

GP is a symmetrical playfield with pleasing shots but very tricky outlanes that featured drain gaps for surprises when you attempted to control drops.

Is #Metallica actually worse if you mix them up with bad producers, or if you mix them up with #AI ?

It can get difficult to tell, in some ways.

I mean... Bob Rock is just the goddamn worst, but no one is wandering around with Tshirts on that say "Death To Bob Rock" on them.

One of my favorite #90s #Shoegaze bands have recorded an EP and all is right with the world for three minutes and forty-eight seconds, at least.

Swervedriver worked with Ride's Mark Gardener on two of the tracks from the four track album.

My one-day best at Paragon #pinball, design by Greg Kmiec & #art by Paul Faris. Greg made some standout #games in the 70s and #80s like Xenon, Future Spa, Capt Fantastic & Vector. Faris created what I consider one of the top backglass designs in history, up there with Firepower, Attack From Mars & Black Knight.

It's a widebody, which means it's very difficult to maintain control, especially on cross-playfield shots. I really wish this game could have had better sound to match the fantasy theme.

I'm an #80s kid, but I learned to play #guitar in the #90s

I also discovered #Dub in the 90s, which led me to find Justin Broadrick, Godflesh and then by association, Scorn.

One practice, we decided we wanted to write from a drum sample forward, instead of try and work a sample into a song we had mostly done.

I thought of the grimy gunk of Scorn and thought it would be a perfect counterpart to our glassy #PostRock with clean tenor vocals. Here's how that sounds.
