@sec_yote_agenda
It's a common problem that when ideology is dominant for a while, the spokespeople go from those with the deepest understanding of the flaws of the system¹ and start being replaced with automatons repeating the party line even against reality.
If it goes on for too long, the whole system collapses. This is essentially what happened to Soviet Union. Afterward China started being very specific with CVs.
_
¹ every system has flaws which have to be managed.

always telling the truth"
Scott Jennings @Lum_ • 21h
um, yes, that's really a problem

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically
more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable
sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology
and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality
rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers
not very effective unless the fact checkers use
misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and
more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and
studies frustratingly aren't usually on our side.

It also shows the imbecility of the right.
If the left tells the truth, they never ever thought of, you know, following the truth!
Left: our policies will make you better off, and here's a study showing it.
Right: Oh no, let's make up some fake study to show right wing policies are going to make us better off so this way we end up worse off.

@sec_yote_agenda
But most of them won't enjoy much of that power.
This reminds a true story I've read years ago:
Pilot and copilot. Copilot bet a small amount of money the pilot can't land blindfolded on instrument. Pilot took up the challenge. They crashed. The copilot won the bet, but he's dead.
That's what the right wingers are doing.

@sec_yote_agenda No problem, fact checking is going out of favour on mainstream social media.
The Glorious Leader made sure that the big platforms don't disturb the propaganda of the party with pesky fact checking.
(If I caught that correctly, he threatened the owner with throwing him in prison for life. And giving the PATRIOT Act, I'm not sure if the executive arm doesn't have the power, just by murmuring Terrorism, and holding people even without communications with their lawyers.)
