@VE2UWY Jeff is probably the most knowledgeable guy I know when it comes to digital radio - always a treat learning more from his presentations. I'll have to give this one a watch, I knew you could do APRS with JS8 but never knew about doing it with VARA!

@roguefoam @VE2UWY If you are willing to put up the station you may provide #aprs over any digimode possible with #fldigi. I experimented with this idea for a while for an #Olivia station to replicate vara without proprietary nature of it. Sadly I don't have spare hardware nor decent qth to keep such infra. Otherwise there are many other better mods than ax.25 to carry aprs over HF. Sadly we are not invested in them historically =(
