As several others have on the fediverse today, I would like to proudly make the Amateur Radio Inclusivity Pledge.

Amateur Radio is a hobby defined by a love for technology and science, not by ones background or beliefs. It takes every one of us to foster a welcoming environment for all those wishing to learn and experiment, and we should not shy away from that responsibility.

I’m trying to think about how to structure my projects in my notes system (currently using Obsidian) - right now I’ve just got them as files in the root folder along with everything else, but I feel like I’ll start to lose projects and then dive too deep into Dataview queries to find what I need.

Anyone got something that works for them well they’d love to share? I’d also love to see what your project notes look like in general (if you take them)!

Anyone know of an alternative to Netlify that allows for GitHub organizations to auto-deploy repos for free?

I've got a website for a student organization stored in an organization for that org on GH and dealing with manual uploads is...bad. Site is built with 11ty if that helps.

Well...first result with the CaliCat model is good. Stringing is just a matter of me needing to dial in settings but the layers look a bit better and the distinct popping of water boiling off is (mostly) gone.

Next step tomorrow is to queue up the 8 hour print that was giving me trouble the past few weeks and see if I was right about my issues.

Purchased a filament dehydrator and giving that a shot. I've had some prints fail recently and I think it is filament issues, so let's see what this spits out. I'll do a calibration print to test, and then will re-attempt my current projects (coasters for my house)!

[#]11ty #Eleventy people! I've got about 500 images to add to a site in album format, anyone got suggestions on photo gallery type site starters or other docs that might help me accomplish this? Photos are currently stored by album in folders, and I just need an MVP that displays the album and all its images, metadata can come later.

I wonder if Obsidian Web Clipper could be automated at all...I've got 2.8k bookmarks that I'd be interested in saving to a vault with this new system but I don't want to sit there for 30 hours and do it manually with sorting and all.

@thunderbird I have a minor bug to report regarding drafts savings with an Office365 account on the latest update (multiple drafts are being continuously saved for a message that has been sent) - is there a starter guide out there for reporting bugs and what y'all need and how to access it in terms of logs and such?

I'm working on a new project and need some books regarding half decent web design and web accessibility - any recs?

I'm fantastic at functionality, but looking good isn't my strong suit.

Any @thunderbird users able to help me figure out if there's a way (or plugin if necessary) to setup multiple signatures and select between the two? I'm tired of re-typing my signature every few emails lol.

Someone shared this article the other day, and I'd boost if I could find it again, but I wanted to re-share as this kid's story sounds a lot like mine but with more accomplishments - #HamRadio can bring a lot of good into a youth operator's life!

Yesterday was the 1 year anniversary of me joining @polymaths and I've had an amazing time so far. Here's hoping it's another year of great conversation, learning, and pondering :)

I’ve noticed more and more blogs and news sites not paywalling, but requiring that you subscribe to their newsletter to keep reading. I’m not sure which I find worse honestly…
