• Had an impromptu chat with an old coworker about his anxiety and his autistic daughter. We bonded.

• I've worked out 4 days in a row. I like feeling my muscles get stronger.

• I watched my friend's latest Youtube video. She's softly spoken (naturally) and spent 30mins doing a show and tell of various stim and comfort toys she has. It's so low-key and relaxing. Plus it shows me cool things I want to play with.

I'd like to try melatonin and see what it's like not to wake up at 4am every day.

But I saw my GP 10 months ago and she said "gynaecology will be in touch", and I haven't heard a damn thing.

Here's the fun thing about the last tea that was in this mug.

I always thought it was apple tea so I called it apple tea. But it was pointed out to me that the tea is actually "green tea with peach and mango" so it's not exactly overflowing with apples.

Now I call it "non-apple tea".

£700 for invites and a website?! Like dude, I can buy a pack of invites for £20. I single-handedly made my brother's wedding website by myself and not only was that cost a 2-digit figure, that figure started with a 1! Including hosting!

And yes, I did notice you changed the colour of the text slightly so that it's no longer a "golden copper" but what I would call "diarrhea stomach medicine brown copper". Which you changed because you think green and gold is "so overdone".

No. Paypal doesn't need 2 capital P letters. Type it however you want. Adding the capitals is just free advertising. Treat it like a normal name.

No, I will not shoot one of the alpacas so we can afford the invites. Ha ha ha. So funny.

What do you mean we don't have time to think about it? We don't need them for another 3 months! Pressuring us to go with your crazy high quote right now will result in me saying, "no, thanks, we'll go with this cheap shit from Etsy" just to piss you off.

If we paid for these (which we're not) it would currently be the most expensive thing in the wedding besides the venue.

Why the fuck have we got a bespoke website hand built from scratch? We're not a company with a new product. It doesn't need to be unique and innovative and catch the eye of unsuspecting punters. It just needs our names, a date, a time and an address. We're not here to make money off of our guests by claiming commission on photography.

But did I say any of this? Mostly no. Mostly I stayed quiet and tried to diplomatically say we'll think about it. Then came home raging.

Work was eventful too and I went straight from there into our client meeting, I mean, visit to the groom's parents.

Now I'm restless and wide awake and not sure how to process any of this.

• I made a "lasagne soup" (thanks, old Gousto recipe!) and I discovered my homemade pasta is perfect for it.

• I finished ACOTAR book #1 and started ACOTAR book #2.

• I received my first surprise book delivery. Every month my local bookshop drops off a box with one book, a chocolate bar, and either hot chocolate or a teabag inside. They physically drive this box to my house. Then a month later they run a book club about the book if you want to go and talk about it. It was wrapped in a beautiful yellow ribbon.

• Fiancé said I can't have alpacas at our wedding. He stood by as I took a call from the alpaca people saying they'd been in touch with our venue. The venue is more excited than I am and apparently the wedding coordinator asked if she could meet the alpacas and pet them too. Long story short: deposit is paid and I'm having fucking alpacas at my wedding!

• My lifelong dream of seeing Cirque du Soleil was met today. It was fascinating. As a consequence I've signed up for pole dancing lessons. Instead of being unfit, I can be unfit in a really sexy way.

• The next book in the ACOTAR series arrives tomorrow and I have just enough book left in the first one to send me to sleep. When I return from work tomorrow, books will be waiting!

I went into old London town today to see Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall.

It was ace! The performers were incredibly talented and it was like seeing a really highbrow circus. It greatly helped that I speak Italian.

I still don't have a fucking clue what was going on.

But lobbing women across a pirate ship is really cool.
