In my adventure to learn some languages of the #LISP family I started with #Racket and I started with the book How To Design Programs suggested by @PaniczGodek

I'm going little by little and right now, I’m totally lost with all these parentheses. It feels like I’m not getting much, but I hope it'll get easier once I get the hang of this new way of writing code

Questions for BSD users with home labs that use Proxmox:

If I understand it well, Proxmox VE is a Linux distro for VMs. FreeBSD already has bhyve and jails, so why do you use proxmox for installing FreeBSD VMs on it? Isn't it more straightforward to do everything with FreeBSD? What are the advantages of using Proxmox?

I need your knowledge for choosing an email client. My needs/wants are:

• It has to work on the terminal.

• It has to manage multiple accounts for receiving and sending (pop/smtp)

• It has to work with maildir format

• It should not render HTML emails with tracking images, etc. I'm happy if it will only render plain text email

• GnuPG/OpenPGP support

As usual, I'm open to suggestions, comments and links that help with my "research". Thank you very much in advance.

I've seen a poll about operating systems lately and I think that people should learn one or two things before talking (writing).

Let me clarify you 1, 2 or 3 things:

• #Linux is not an operating system it's just a kernel. Maybe you mean GNU/Linux

• #Mac is not an operating system, it's a computer. Maybe you mean Mac OS or Mac OS X

• #Microsoft is not an operating system, it's a corporation. Maybe you mean #DOS, #Windows or even #Xenix
