@syntaxerror sed filters + multimarkdown + wkhtmltopdf. Source stays pretty readable.

@syntaxerror Ultimately LaTeX for any sufficiently complex works, though in practice Markdown -> Pandoc -> multiple endpoints suffices for most use cases.

Driving that via a Makefile is quite handy.
