Questions for BSD users with home labs that use Proxmox:

If I understand it well, Proxmox VE is a Linux distro for VMs. FreeBSD already has bhyve and jails, so why do you use proxmox for installing FreeBSD VMs on it? Isn't it more straightforward to do everything with FreeBSD? What are the advantages of using Proxmox?
