Got myself tickets to the Planet Mu (record label) 30 year anniversary party. It's a 10pm-6am job so I'm going to need a grandad disco nap that day but I'm excited.

We're currently watching Twin Peaks (again). I could go on for days about how weird and wonderful this show is but a tiny snippet popped up tonight that's worth 20 seconds of your time as it's just perfect.
Agent Cooper and Sheriff Truman are at a vets office. A woman walks between them mid conversation with a Llama, and the Llama decides to go nose to nose with Kyle MacLachlan (Cooper) and he doesn't break character. Trumans face after is clearly suppressing a laugh. It's an unscripted moment of magic.

I avoid commenting on politics here. It's not that I'm unaware or don't care, I have very strong feelings but this is where I come to escape and try and keep my output and shared posts in that vein for my people here.
I do lapse, and today is particularly raw for many of us, but I'll try and keep it this way as the night is full of terrors and sometimes you just need a picture of a dog or some moss, or a story about how you accidentally sent your TV remote to a buyer on eBay.

Not horrible, just interesting.
I just saw a post on Facebook. I never go on there, I was prompted as my stepdad is on there and wanted to check up.
I read his post and just happened to look at one below. Typical Facebook "feels" shit that older people and Facebook types lap up.
It was a heartwarming story about Robin Williams (lovely photos accompanying it) who took a cab ride in New York. The cabbie didn't recognise him, but they got into a conversation about how the cabbie used to love to play the saxophone. Robin encouraged him to follow his passion and left a decent tip (Robin still unrecognised). The cabbie went home and dusted off his sax and rekindled his love of playing music. A sweet story.
I have questions. Unless Robin Williams followed the cabbie home, who actually witnessed this story? The cabbie was oblivious. I can only assume an omnipresent God posted this on Facebook.
Duly, the replies were dewey eyed and gushing, but it made fuck all sense if you even vaguely question it.

I touched on this in the past but am curious how you sound, your actual voice and accent.
We read each other's posts, and there are hints at what we might sound like, but we don't know.

Youngest got this Lego set for their older, music producer and Lego obsessed, sibling for Christmas.
It was a thoughtful present and pretty cute. We're definitely a Lego household, even though we're all adults now.

She fucking guessed it correctly, no hesitation, then pissed herself laughing when I confirmed it was indeed "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.
