How it always goes.

Hears about a new email client. Looks it up and see really exciting features. Doesn't support iMAP. 😒

BUT this time not only does the client not support iMAP, it DOES support POP3. What the actual fuck??? What year is it? 🤯

iPadOS 19 Feature Request: Fix multitasking on the iPad so there is only one mode and it works for both tablet and keyboard and mouse mode.

If that’s too much, then a setting that detects if a keyboard and mouse/trackpad is paired. If the iPad is in tablet mode use Split View multitasking, if a keyboard and mouse/trackpad is paired use Stage Manager.

Hottest of spicy takes: The app isn't that bad, and after setting up the speakers I never use it. Just AirPlay from the Music app.

I'm just pissed that I bought the soundbar and subwoofer and they were updated days later.

(I know I could have sent them back, but it would have been a thing)

I'm really proud that @comfortzone is apart of @macstories. We obviously won't be promoting the show on any Meta platforms now.

For my personal projects, I wont be posting to those platforms as well, including promoting new videos. This means I am off both Instagram and Threads.

First project of the new year is done! I have two of these tool chests in my studio for camera gear, tech products, and cables. I went through and cleaned them out and organized them. I didn’t take before pictures of what the drawers looked like, but they were a disaster.

I’m about to rip all the HomePods out of my house. In the last few months I haven’t been able to reliably airplay a podcast (from any third party podcast app) to any of my HomePods (1st and 2nd gen big one, and the minis). After I start playing a podcast a couple minutes later it cuts in and out and will even jump around.

The Sonos sound bar and sub works perfectly for podcasts and music. Maybe it’s finally time to go all in on Sonos.
