Actual #ADHD life hack: incorporate gadgets into your least favorite chores! I recently purchased a Dremel Versa (rotary sponge/brush tool) for deep cleaning tasks and some electric scissors for breaking down cardboard boxes. Seems silly, but the added novelty has helped me follow through more consistently.

Adobe Acrobat is such an incredible software specimen. Adobe clearly sees it as a way to get their foot in the door for any non-graphics related workflows, but every new feature seems to make it less usable for its original purpose.

I honestly think this means refusing to work for companies that are looking for LLM wranglers. If they’re prioritizing cranking out “good enough” products, you won’t convince them to pay for your craft.

Web designers and engineers should all be focused on creating alternative markets for people who care about and are willing to pay for thoughtfully designed, craft goods.

Just as cheap, flimsy mass market goods have taken over the traditional supply chain for physical goods, AI-powered design and dev workflows will do the same for digital products.

Ignore the race to the bottom. Focus on what you, as a thoughtful human, can uniquely provide.
