"Review Spam," or commercially motivated posts, on the Internet Archive spiked to 99.9% of our reviews just before the election and when we were hit with a cyber attack and ddos.

When we recovered, spam outnumbered real reviews 20-to-1.

It has always been a cat-and-mouse game, but the mice became RoboMice.

So now the @internetarchive has RoboKitties!

Overview of cyberattack response on Calgary Public Library: it was a ransomware attack, like Toronto Public Library. they shut down all servers.

6 weeks "holding pattern" to get first services back up. Said it could have been much worse. And back stronger!

Dear #Waymo : Are your cars allowed to rest in the neighborhoods? (uber's are, but you guys?)

I get a thrill every time I see a Waymo in SF. Really.

But I don't see them hanging out in legal parking spaces-- which I would think would be more energy efficient as you wait for a ride request.

I know there are depots (and loved @via ' streaming of one). you could leave a legal parking spaces if someone wanted it. At least you saving energy, money, and wear.

And being closer to requestors...
