I have a Gemini capsule as well as a gopherhole that run on separate servers, and I don't use a proxy. I like to keep the content on both the same, which is fairly easy to do for the most part as converting from gemtext to plaintext is very simple. The issue I have is with the gophermaps. In the past I have taken the links on my Gemini index pages and manually typed out the Gopher versions into gophermaps, but this is incredibly tedious to do. The chat is the same very code that is used in AuraGem's Live Chat, but I intend to expand this application to provide more features (like file upload, multiple channels, and better username handling). Did a lines of code count on AuraGem's server. Turns out it was much larger than I expected, lol. 12,000 lines of Go code for AuraGem proper, and 7,000 for SIS (the server library/software). Didn't realize AuraGem got so big.
