"Hosting" recommendation

I've been around Gemini for around a month or two maybe, and I'm still 'homeless'. Truth be told, I've been away from computers quite a bit of this time, browsing (and enjoying playing games) from my phone and commenting here and there.

BBS here has been my main "home" in the geminiverse this far.

I have found some capsules hosted in tildes and this, being a fairly new concept for me, has caught my attention.

I have found Tildeverse, and I was wondering if you lovely people had some experiences to share.

Some of these tildes seem to be more 'thematic' than others, I'm probably looking for something rather generalist.

So, anyway, yeah, if you have anything positive or otherwise to say (or if you can point me to some place where I can read something), I'll be happy to read it.

A user by the tag of jmjl hosts one of the ones on tilde.green called tilde.green who's one of the only other public misfin hosts alongside the one I host hashnix. vern.cc is another, arf20.com, spuos.net, rawtext.club, projectsegfau.lt, the honorable deepend hosts both the historical tilde.club as well as thunix. There's many to choose from, and they all offer their unique experiences, just a matter of sending a request out and waiting to see who'll have ya.

I started on tilde.club before self hosting. they have gemini, gopher, web, emal, a BBS, and access to the shared tilde services like chat and git. i didn't try cgi access there so I can't speak to that.

I'm using cities.yesterweb.org, unfortunately it's without FTP support, but with WebDAV
