Yes, I've already fixed that typo.
Seeing it as an engineer, it was a embarrassing fiasco. People build removable or fixed docks by the thousands every year in the Mediterranean. Many use meteorological data provided by US government agencies. For US Army engineers to fail in such a project (it operated intermittently for just 20 days), it should be humiliating. Am I overestimating their competency?
