while things are Distinctly Not Good, please do not believe the breathless reporting in the press
I am about ten minutes from the edge of the continent and we've had exactly fuck-all in terms of federal excitement here to date, and I was up the interstate to Seattle within the last week and saw no changes en route, crossing state borders or at ports
