I made a joke about something the nurse said while drawing my blood that made her crack up so much, her trainee had to take over. She called in other nurses and asked me to repeat it.
I was just mystified by the reaction. It was the lowest hanging dad joke. She asked her trainee to hand her "the lavender one," as in the color of the label on the side of the blood vial. And all I said was "if it's coming out lavender we have a problem." And apparently I'm a comic genius.
