@james — No. Here’s the full story:

• kid’s play date pal got picked up

• I spotted a planet, and said “oh look, it’s Venus”

• then I looked again and said “or maybe it’s Jupiter”

• I pulled out sky guide to check

• sky guide showed another bright thing in the sky: the ISS!

• I looked up again and there it was

• I desperately wanted to share the moment, and rushed in to get my kid (it was the 5yo, who you met)

• we both marvelled at the bright light racing across the sky and waved!
