Hopey is now at peace. I was able to have her on my lap as she drifted off, and I found it so comforting and peaceful. Now I don't have to be worried that she won't eat, or on alert for awful sounds, or wonder where she is when she isn't in arm's reach.
I'm going to try for a nap now. Thank you to all who have followed along and sent love and support this past week.
