I stopped my subscription to the #WashingtonPost and rely on mostly #NPR. One month in:
- I don't receive "breaking news", for better or for worse. NPR's cadence is slower, focusing on high level overviews rather than by-the-minute updates or high-focus on particular aspects of an event.
- I consume news less frequently. A five minute news summary in the morning, and occasionally checking the app means that I spend under 20 minutes a day consuming #journalism
