@human3500 It seems that major subreddits are participating in X-it. One is going further, also disallowing Meta (due to similar reasons), TikTok and Rednote (due to CCP affiliation and possible influence by a hostile foreign government.)
Most common is disallowing direct links, which is enough to make a statement.
