When I learned to trust my own inner voice. I had been a ceramicist, sculpted figurines, taught polymer clay miniatures online hosting a Yahoo group. The Yahoo group's daily emails and creating tutorials helped me get comfortable with writing fiction.
Most of the progress happed after raising my sons and retiring from working in tech corporations.
