@Flick It has not been a good day. Tech was here for many hours. My "high end" furnace has hard-to-find parts and he had to get temporary parts while the "real" part is on order. New thermostat too. Lots of testing to diagnose. Lola had to be locked up all day so she wouldn't fall into the crawl space, which she hated, and howled over; Momo just hid. Tech kept apologizing for whatever the hell I'm gonna have to pay when the bill comes in. I will probably have to replace the whole "high end" system before next winter for something that doesn't break every year on the coldest day. I had very little sleep. This has all sucked. BUT furnace is working now so we won't die here, yay.
