@Crazypedia Indeed. Also, there are blind and low vision folks who unironically and pridefully say this, and it hits the same exact troubling notes for me as when fully sighted folks do. Generally in our community context, it can be translated as, “I’ve never examined my racial biases, I don’t plan to start, and I never have to anyway cuz I can’t see! Tee hee!”
