@nixCraft Discovery of new tech. There are some really really cool things out there from invention of the Raspberry Pi to open source self hosted services like Home Assistant; from the latest version of your favourite Linux distro to cyber security applications etc, its all cool stuff but that feeling of 'discovery' of say the 'terminal' for the first time & how it could be used for things like Mutt email or IRC messaging to communicate with other 'across the world' cannot be replicated.
