So I have my hands on a Canon EOS80D camera. Anyone know of a FOSS app I can use on my #GrapheneOS phone to wirelessly connect to download the photos from it? Canon Connect is their developed app but I don't want that. I've been out of the DSLR game for a 'very long time'. I don't need to remotely control the camera (seems to be an advertised feature), I'm just looking for some advice how to best connect to download the photos to my phone. Any help much appreciated! #canon #photography #camera

So, to add to my daily language learning and reading habits, a new game for 2025 to use up those intervening quiet times, is to read at least 10 wikipedia articles a day while having my morning brew. A great way to start the day. It's amazing what you can learn for free! Spotted an article on how to avoid salmonella poisoning from the meat eaten during the Thanks Giving holiday by cooking it above a certain temperature. Highly recommend Strange Darling. There was nothing to watch and this looked like the usual, conventional serial killer thriller but I put it on anyway. Great format (in 6 parts which you find out straight away so no spoiler there) and the acting by Willa Fitzgerald is brilliant. So, @streetcomplete when filling in the questions using the Street Complete app, where are the additional details such as; the road surface, street lighting etc viewable? I can't see such details on the OpenStreetMap website or the OrganicMaps app, even with overlays... So, where are they viewed? What's the point in filling these details in? Are they collected just in case someone develops an app that decides to show this info maybe? #openstreetmap #OrganicMaps
