@niomi Good question. I guess it depends on the instance you're trying to apply to.
If its a thematic or regional instance, then you should probably say something about why you think its a good fit for you.
If its a generic instance you'll most likely just have to say something that makes clear that you are human.
Also saying something about yourself is never wrong. That info won't be made public anyway. 🙂
