There are many places here in California that are "no smoking" buildings and/or "no smoking within 20 feet of door."

This seems sane and reasonable to me, to avoid concentrated lung damage to those who didn't consent.

By the same health logic, shouldn't a self replicating agent that causes lung damage be treated at least as severely as a non-reproducing toxin?

Masks are being recommended now for first responders in the LA fires.

If it makes sense for individual toxins, why not infections?
