@JeffC1956 I like to have my computer read it back to me. I have a Bash function that converts my article from markdown to plain text. Then I pipe that to the say command which is

say -i -v Evan

This shows the text and highlight the word it's currently speaking. So you can follow along like karaoke. Evan is one of the two male American voices on MacOS, that I’m using. I downloaded the Enhanced versions, because it makes a huge difference.

The best female voices: Zoe, Allison, and Matilda
