I used Audible for a long time and had to un-DRM a bunch (~80) books. I much prefer to give my money to Libro.fm, which not only offers exclusively DRM-free books, but you can choose a physical bookstore and they'll donate part of the profits to that bookstore.
When I was in Washington, DC there was a bookstore called Reiters Books that had scientific and academic books no one else would carry, the kind of books that Amazon says they have 2 copies of, cost $120 each and will be a special order. I haven't been to Reiters in years (and I don't know if they're still as awesome as they were) but through Libro.fm, I support them.
