Another thing I finished yesterday was #reading James by Percival Everett.

What. A. Book.

Written in sparse yet profound prose, it tells the story of Huckleberry Finn but from the perspective of Jim, the slave.

I cannot recommend this book enough.

I have his previous book The Trees also but I’ve not read it yet, but wow can this man write.

Please, if you can, you really should.
