Yesterday, I received a very ... unique call by a social security worker. It started with her asking for some clarification regarding my paperwork and ended with her getting a bit emotional about my condition and telling me a story of her late mother.
It felt a bit out of place at first, but in the end, it was a breeze of fresh air to talk with a human and not to a named employee.
Which is just to show that even if you admit or deny claims of money for others, you can still be a genuine human doing so.
Be a human to your fellow humans.
