@82mhz For similar reasons, with my last computer purchase, I got a Framework laptop (AMD), and hope to replace the parts as I go. I had 16gb of RAM, then upgraded to 32gb when I had some more cash. Maybe in a few years I'll need to replace the keyboard, and maybe in 10 years or so I'll update the motherboard and change some ports, and so on. Really great laptop.
